Spring Cleanup – Saturday, May 10, 2025, 3-5 PM

May 10, 2025

Update: quite a haul today, including two baseballs, three golf balls and a $5 bill!

There will be a spring cleanup on Saturday, May 10, 2025, 3-5 PM.

We’ll be collecting trash and broken glass. It helps to bring a bucket or trash bag and you might want to wear gloves and a trowel to dig out glass shards. We’ll also be looking for invasives, particularly Garlic Mustard, which is in bloom right now.

The Town requires that everyone working on the cleanup must sign a volunteer waiver form, which you can get here.

Arisaema triphyllum (Jack=in-the-pulpit) – a nice native wildflower
Anemonoides nemorosa (Wood Anemone) – not a native, but not a problem
Alliaria petiolata (Garlic Mustard) – a problematic invasive
